A little project - finished maybe

Here's the writing paper I mentioned.

The decoration on the right is to be printed on the right of a pile of some slightly brown paper.
The flowers and vines only decoration on the left is for the front of the envelopes
Both have gilding (using Will's Quill's mix - lovely, easy and quick) in both gold and copper leaf. You can barely see that some of the leaves are copper tho. I really must learn more about Photoshop.

Debating whether to put her return address on the back of the envelope. Going to trial how difficult it is to feed an envelope through the printer and get it to print the information on the back fold straight.
The writing doesn't look straight on the scan, but it is, damnit. I have a difficulty, which I swear is congenital (and not a result of carelessness), to cut or rule straight, so I try really hard. And rarely succeed. Ruling up a page for a 20 line mss reproduction, with small x-heights and a/d heights - even with a desk rotring set it's my idea of a nightmare

I'll give her the scan files for each and the original, which she might like because of the gilding .... as well as a good supply of it all printed up.

I've hand made gifts for Kit, Sally and Dianne now. I think I'll tell them that their Christmas presents were combined with their birthday gifts. The thought of making more for everyone (including the friends that have missed out getting hand made gifts for their birthdays this year) makes me positively weak at the knees.
